Enjoying the moment - breathe.....

I have so much going on right now (like everyone else).  I am surrounded by negativity :(

BUT......

I had a great weekend.  And so as I sit here tired and longing for sleep, I want to savour the weekend just a little bit longer.

I guess in reality I didn't do anything amazing, but it was just good all round.

Saturday, Josh started to feel better after being sick for 2 weeks.

David and I bought an IPhone 4 each - woo hoo totally love it!  I have no idea why anyone would want any other type of phone.

We had friends for dinner, a relaxed pizza party as it was called and it was just that.  With 4 adults and 5 children in our modest home you could expect chaos, but on the whole it was calm and relaxed and we all had fun and it was a great night that I would do again in a heart beat.

Sunday morning I woke feeling blessed, having had a great night and being proud of my eldest son's behaviour (he can be a tad anti social at times - that's an understatement) and it was a gorgeous day and I felt content, loved, blessed with the most amazing friends anyone could ask for.  All of my best friends are so different but all unique and totally mind blowing and I have no idea what I have done to deserve them. 

We did some shopping today, visited some friends, ate left overs (no cooking yay) and just had a good weekend.

Gosh it all sounds rather boring when I look at what I have written but hey; I enjoyed it and that is all that matters.  And with life the way it is right now I am going to grab hold of these fun times and great memories and hold them tight with both hands and try to breathe, knowing that my cup is half full, not half empty and life is what you make it and a saying I love - Sing like no one is listening, Love like you'll never be hurt, Dance like no one is watching and live every day as if it were your last.
